Pseudoboehmite is a white gel (wet) or powder (dried), odorless, tasteless, and nontoxic.
Pseudoboehmite is a thixotrope with the characteristics of a high-purity crystalline phase, excellent gelation, and strong caking property.
Pseudoboehmite uses:
Pseudoboehmite is widely used as an FCC and hydrogenation catalyst carrier.
P-DF-03-LS is applied as a cement for the cracking catalyst of semi-synthetic rare-earth Y molecular sieve,
a cement in aluminum silicate refractory fiber, a catalyst in making ethylene by alcohol dehydration,
and in epoxy ethane production.
Pseudoboehmite can also be used as a raw material for activated alumina and other aluminates.
